Award for FIDE in Botswana |

As a token of appreciation from the Botswana Government, the Botswana National Sports Council (Government aided agency with Secretariat office responsible for administration & management of all Sports codes in Botswana) has made an award to FIDE for its support to Botswana Chess. The trophy was received on behalf of FIDE by the Botswana Chess Federation President, Tshepo Sitale, on the 5th July 2009 at a function that was hosted by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Recreation.
