The Presidential Board at its meeting in Sofia, 22-23 April 2010, resolved to permit players that had requested a transfer to a new federation, to play for their new federation at the Olympiad in Khanty-Mansiysk in all cases that were submitted to FIDE by April 22nd 2010, without the sit-out period.
