FIDE President at the AIDEF Chess Championship in Beirut Print

The 2nd AIDEF Chess Championship was held in Beirut, Lebanon from May 30th to June 9th 2014. On June 7th the FIDE President arrived to Beirut for the championship closing ceremony. At the airport he was met by Mr. Nabil Bader, the President of Lebanon Chess Federation. The next day in Golden Tulip hotel Kirsan Ilyumzhinov made the first move of the AIDEF Chess Championship final game – Nikolay Legky (FRA) vs Faisal Khairallah (LIB). The championship with participants from 14 countries was a great success.
