FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Bahrein |

From 27 January to 2 February 2009 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Bahrain, by Bahrain Mind and Sports Association and the Arab Chess Union, under the auspices of FIDE. The Seminar took place in the Bahrain Chess Club of Al-Adliya Area, Kingdom of Bahrain. The Lecturer was IA Mahdi Abdulrahim (UAE), Member of the FIDE Arbiters Council and Assistant was IA Saddiq Al Ghasra (BRN) from Bahrain Mind and Sports Association. 16 people from Bahrain participated in the Seminar and 12 of them participated in the examination test.
The following six (6) succeeded in the test and will be awarded the title of FIDE Arbiter after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
