FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Tashkent, Uzbekistan Print

From 25 to 28 March 2009 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, by the Uzbekistan Chess Federation, under the patronage of the Asian Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Seminar took place in the complex 4-stars "Shodlik Palace" Hotel, with participants from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The Lecturer was IA Ashot Vardapetian, member of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and the Assistant was IA Husan Turdialiev (UZB). 12 people (8 men and 4 women) participated in the Seminar and in the examination test that was held after the end of the lectures.
The following three (3) succeeded in the test and will be awarded the title of FIDE Arbiter after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
Yunusov Ilhom (TJK) 80%, Kim Irina (UZB) 80% and Mirzaakhmedov Vyacheslav (UZB) 81%
