FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in San Jose, Costa Rica Print

From 30 April to 3 May 2009 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in San Jose Costa Rica, by the Costa Rica Chess Federation and the National Olympic ommittee and under the auspices of FIDE.
The Seminar took place in the building of the National Olympic Committee of Costa Rica, with participants from Costa Rica.
The Lecturer was IA Jorge Vega, Continental President of Americas and the Assistant was IA Santiago Garcia.
12 people participated in the Seminar and in the examination test that was held after the end of the lectures.
The following five (5) succeeded in the test and will be awarded the title of FIDE Arbiter after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

Pablo Bermudez Vives (CRC) 87%, Josue Amaya Madrigal (CRC) 86%, Diego Redondo Vargas (CRC) 83%, Carolina Munoz Solis (CRC) 82% and Paul Jesus Gonzalez Acosta (CRC) 81%.
