FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Thessaloniki, Greece Print

From 29 April to 2 May 2009 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Thessaloniki, Greece, by the AMO “Galaxias” Chess Club and the Greek Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.
The Seminar took place in the Congress Hall of GRAND HOTEL PALACE (5*), with participants from Greece, India and Iran.
The Lecturer was IA Panagiotis Nikolopoulos, chairman of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission.
7 people (6 men and 1 woman) participated in the Seminar and in the examination test that was held after the end of the lectures.
The following four (4) succeeded in the test and will be awarded the title of FIDE Arbiter after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

Dimitriadis Alexandros(GRE) 82%, Chander Mohan Sharma (IND) 81%, Derveniotis Evangelos (GRE) 80% and S. Sreedharan (IND) 80%.
