A FIDE Arbiters' Seminar is going to be organized from 25 - 30 June 2009 in Damascus, Syria, by the Syrian Arab Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.

The Lecturer of the seminar will be IA Mahdi Abdulrahim (UAE), member of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission.
