FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Chennai, India Print

From 23 to 28 June 2009 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Chennai, India, by the All India Chess Federation and under the auspices ofFIDE.

The Lecturer was IA Casto Abundo (PHI), Deputy President of the Asian Chess Federation, and Assistant Lecturer was IA Prof. R. Anantharam (IND).

23 people from various parts of India participated in the Seminar and in the examination test that was held after the end of the lectures.

The following succeeded in the test and will be awarded the title of FIDE Arbiter after the approval of the next FIDE Executive Board:

Kasi (82.5%), Mrs.Lalshmi Priya. T.T. (82.5%), Mr.M.R.Senthil Kumar (80%), Mr.Dipak Ghatuar (80%) and Mr. Muppa.Sivajaganmohan Rao (80%).
