FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Cairo, Egypt Print

From 24 to 29 June 2009 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Cairo, Egypt, by the Egyptian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE.
The Seminar took place in one of the buildings of the Ministry of Sports, with participants from Egypt.
The Lecturer was IA Ashot Vardapetian (ARM), member of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and the Assistant was IA Hassan Khaled (EGY).
20 people (16 men and 4 women) participated in the Seminar and in the examination test that was held after the end of the lectures.
The following five (5) succeeded in the test and will be awarded the title of FIDE Arbiter after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
Hosny Gamal (EGY) 88%, Kamel Ehab (EGY) 87%, Mahmoud Merihan (EGY) 80%, Elahl Mohamed (EGY) 92% and Awwad Moustafa (EGY) 85%.
