FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Dubai, UAE

From 14 to 19 June 2009 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Dubai, UAE, by the UAE Chess Federation, in association with the Arab Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.
The Seminar took place in the Leader Qualification Center, in Dubai City, with participants from UAE, Jordan, Egypt, Yemen and India.
The Lecturers were IA Mahdi Abdulrahim (UAE), member of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and Chairman of UAE and Arab Arbiters' Council and IA Dr. Hesham El Gendy (EGY), member of the FIDE Rules and Tournament Regulations Committee.
28 people participated in the Seminar and in the examination test that was held after the end of the lectures.
The following fifteen (15) succeeded in the test and will be awarded the title of FIDE Arbiter after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
