FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil |

From 6 to 9 August 2009 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil by the Brazilian Chess Confederation and under the auspices of FIDE. The Lecturer was IA Jorge Vega (GUA), President of the Americas Chess Federation and Assistant was IA Antonio Bento (BRA). The following five (5) Brazilian Arbiters participated in the Seminar, succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
