During the 19th European Youth Chess Championship and on 04.09.2009 (15:30) a FIDE Trainers Commission meeting was held under the auspices of TRG.

The TRG Chairman Adrian Mikhalchishin, the TRG Secretary Efstratios Grivas and the TRG Advisor Mikhail Gurevich were on the podium, presenting and explaining TRG's past and future projects, to an audience of respected trainers: Nenad Doric (Croatia), Sergei Berezjuk (Czech Republic), Stanislav Jasny (Czech Republic), Andrew Martin (England), Philipp Schlosser (Germany), Mark Berkovich (Israel), Boro Miljanic (Montenegro), Jop Delemarre (Netherlands), Delf Meljer (Netherlands), Petra Schurmman (Netherlands), Robin Swinkels Netherlands), Thomas Willemze (Netherlands), Tadej Sakelsek (Slovenia), Hakan Erdogan (Turkey) and Ozgur Solakoglu (Turkey). ECU Board Member Mr. Gerry Walsh was present as well, honouring the meeting.

TRG Council welcomed the proposal of Jop Delemarre (Netherlands), that FIDE should circulate a letter to all Federations asking for a person to be appointed as a the 'official contact trainer' with the TRG. By this action, TRG's communication and further cooperation with the federations will become easier and more effective.

TRG would also like to thank the EYCC Organising Committee President Mr. Piero Cinciripini for his valuable help in realising this meeting.

With kind regards,

The Chairman Adrian Mikhalchishin
The Secretary Efstratios Grivas
