FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Derna City, Libya Print

From 13 to 16 March 2010 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Derna City, LIBYA, by the Libyan Chess Federation and under the auspices of FIDE.
The Lecturer was IA Hassan Khaled (EGY), member of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission and Assistant was IA Khaled Elnami (LBA), President of the Libyan Chess Federation.
Observer was Mr. Nizar Elhaj, FIDE Vice President. The lectures were in Arabic language.
24 National Arbiters from Libya and Egypt participated in the Seminar.
The following seven (7) succeeded in the examination test that was held after the lectures and will be awarded a norm for the title of FIDE Arbiter, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:

Fahim M. Farouk (EGY), Bogaldin Mahgod (LBA), Abdalla Khaled (LBA), Almasalati Abdelgawad (LBA), Essewe Abdelbaset (LBA), Saltan Salah (LBA) and Aborijah Fauzi (LBA).
