FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Gaborone, Botswana Print

From 16 to 19 August 2010 a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar was organized in Gaborone, Botswana, by the Chess Federation of Botswana, in cooperation with FIDE CACDEC and under auspices of FIDE.
The venue of the Seminar was the Walmont Grand Palm Hotel.
The lecturer was IA Werner Stubenvoll (AUT), Councilor of the FIDE Arbiters' Commission.
The lectures were in English language.
Thirteen (13) arbiters from Botswana, Zambia and Uganda attended the Seminar and participated in the examination test held after the end of the lectures.
The following six (6) succeeded in the examination test and will be awarded the title of the FIDE Arbiter, according to the article 3.10 of the Regulations for the titles of Arbiters and after the approval of the next FIDE Congress:
