Sydney International Master Irina Berezina-Feldman defeated Canberra Women's International Master Emma Guo by 2.5-0.5 to win the four game rapid chess playoff for the 2011 Oceania Women's Zone Championship and qualify for the Women's World Cup to be held in Russia next year. The playoff match was held at Parramatta on Sunday 17 July 2011 and was necessary because the two players tied for first place in Rotorua New Zealand earlier this year.
