Qualification Commission Councillors' Meeting |

The Qualification Commission Chairman Mikko Markkula and Secretary Nick Faulks met in London with all three councillors - Messrs. Andrzej Filipowicz, Stewart Reuben and Werner Stubenvoll - for two days of meetings on September 13th and 14th. A great deal of useful preparatory work was done, ahead of next month's meetings in Krakow.
These meetings were held at the famous Staunton Hotel, and we wish to thank all of the staff there for their efficient and friendly service. On the evening of the first day, dinner was taken at Simpson's in the Strand, another venue enjoying traditional connections with the game of chess.
