The Port Elizabeth Trainer Seminar was held during the Commonwealth Chess Festival from the 10th to 13th of July 2013. The participants were a very enthusiastic group of 22 trainers coming from different countries in Africa, such as South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana. The lecturer was FT WGM-IM Martha Fierro, who conducted a 15-hour seminar in 4 days.

In order to finalise my decisions, I took into consideration your ID-Cards and the valuable info you provided and further information that I was able to collect, your general behaviour and attendance during the seminar and of course the written exam.

After this, the procedure is as follows:

1. FIDE will approve (or disapprove) your proposed titles in the coming FIDE Congress meeting (September 2013).

2. An invoice will be send to your federation, according to your awarded title (FIDE Trainer = 200 euros * FIDE Instructor = 100 euros * National

3. After approval and payment the title certificates, pins and badges will be sent to your federations.
