Arbiters and National Federation rating officers can output the Krause format for the rating report using FIDE endorsed Swiss System programs.

FIDE Swiss System Committee Chairman Christian Krause advises that the FIDE endorsed programs are:

- PROTOS (Dutch) (old, DOS)
- Swiss Manager (Dutch)
- Swiss Master (Dutch)
- WinSwiss (Dutch)
- Vega (Dubov only)

The FIDE endorsed programs help the organizers to be sure that the pairings are according to the rules and the FIDE Data exchange format is correct.

Only the National Rating Officer may issue ID numbers for players of their federation. Please give IDs to all players in your tournaments and take care not to issue the same player different ID numbers. If you have foreigners without ID numbers, please ask their respective federations for help in issuing them FIDE ID numbers.

The Titles and Ratings Committee and the Qualification Commission at the FIDE Congress in Antalya, Turkey resolved that all requests for rating corrections should be coursed through the national federation rating officer.
