Gelfand defeated Morozevich in a spectacular game to tie for the lead with 4 points out of six rounds together with Anand who drew with Leko. Grischuk and Svidler also drew their sixth round game. The world champion, Vladimir Kramnik, made a draw with Aronian in just 21 moves. Grischuk and Kramnik trail with 3.5 points each followed by Leko and Aronian with 2.5 points apiece.
