FIDE President Kirsan Ilyumzhinov met the listeners of the Educational Programme "Sport Management" of the Russian State University of Management. He gave a lecture "Conditions and development of the physical culture and sport in the Republic of Kalmykia".

The second topic of the lecture was "The main tasks and goals of the World Chess Federation (FIDE)".

The audience of the Educational Programme "Sports Management" of the Russian State University of Management, are the graduates of universitites who receive specialised training in sports management. After the lecture the FIDE President answered the questions connected with the sport activities of the Republic and FIDE.

The heads of the Programme highly evaluated the lecture of the FIDE President and expressed the wish to make such kind of meetings a tradition.
