 FIDE announces that bidding is open to organize the following FIDE events:
World Amateur Chess Championship 2008. Bids should reach the FIDE Secretariat no later than 30 June 2007 in a sealed envelope to be opened at the next Presidential Board Meeting.
World Junior Chess Championship 2009. Bids should reach the FIDE Secretariat no later than 30 September 2007 in a sealed envelope to be opened at the next Presidential Board Meeting.
