The Indian team of Krishnan Sasikiran, Pentala Harikrishna and Humpy Koneru, in photo with Asian Games Competition Manager Yousif Ahmed Ali, beat Indonesia 2.5-0.5 to clinch the gold medal with one round to spare in the Asian Games Chess Team Championship. India has 21 points, an unreachable 5.5 points ahead of second running China with 15.5 followed by Qatar with 15 points and Kazakhstan with 14.5 points.
