Five teams registered perfect scores in the opening round of the Asian Games Chess Team Championship, 6-14 December 2006 in Doha, Qatar. Favorites China, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, Turkmenistan and host Qatar scored shutout victories in the 9-round mixed team event composed of two men and one woman.
