On 2 October 2006 one of the participants of the World Chess Championship Match 2006 Vladimir Kramnik of Russia provided the Appeals Committee of the Match with his Appeal to the Decision made by FIDE. (Russian version of the Appeal). The newly nominated Appeals Committee (Chairman - Mr. Jorge Vega (Continental President for Americas), Members - Mr. Boris Kutin (Continental President for Europe) and Faik Gasanov (Delegate of Azerbaijan Chess Federation) has thoroughly examined the Appeal of Mr. Kramnik and made its Decision to the Appeal of Mr. Kramnik.
