FIDE announcement concerning the Yemen Chess Federation Print

FIDE has received recently conflicting information, from different sources within the Yemen Government, concerning the result of the recent elections of the Yemen Chess Federation. In order to have a clear picture, FIDE has requested from the Prime Minister of the Yemen Republic, HE Abdul Kader Ba-Jammal, to resolve this matter by his own authority. In the meantime, FIDE does not recognize any of the two nominees running for the office of President of the Yemen Chess Federation.
