All National Federations: Proposal of 2006 Olympiad Organizers. Print
Wednesday, 31 August 2005 00:00
As you know, the coming Olympiad will take place in Turin starting 19th of May [arrival] 2006. Due to Italian holiday, the Organizers suggested that one round should be cut from the Olympiad. That means playing 13 rounds and having one day less. Before accepting such a proposal, FIDE would like to have the opinions of the Federations. Please send your answer to the FIDE Secretariat in Athens at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
