 FIDE celebrated its 80th anniversary during the Calvia Olympiad in Spain with Calvia Mayor Cesar Delgado giving a reception on 27th October for FIDE delegates. FIDE is holding the 75th FIDE Congress concurrent with the Olympiad. Commissions and Committees have made their recommendations to the Executive Board and the General Assembly which opens 28 October.
