Thursday, 09 January 2003 00:00
The revised January 2003 FIDE Rating List is ready for download. Due to the wrong treatment of unrated players in the Olympiad rating report, 192 newly rated players have been removed from the prevous release. Also, although regulations stipulate that players deemed inactive (less than 4 rated games) in the last 12 months are not included in the Top selection, the FIDE Rating Administrator has waived this for Vladimir Kramnik and Xie Jun who we all know are still very active.
