11th International Chess Festival "Paracin 2018" will take place from July 6th – 13th, in Hotel "Petrus" and Pool "Prestige" in Paracin, Serbia.

Chess Festival is organized by Youth Chess Club "Paracin" and Tourism Organization of Paracin Municipality

Festival will have 4 events as follows:

- OPEN A for players rated higher than 2100 and valid for FIDE rating and GM/IM/WGM/WIM norms
- OPEN B for players rated lower and equal to 2100 and valid for FIDE rating
- OPEN C for players rated lower and equal to 1500 and born on 2002. and younger, not valid for FIDE rating and
- 14th Memorial Rapid Tournament "Uroš Dinić"

Total prize fund is 7100 EUR.

One month before its start there are already 308 registered players from 31 countries. Organizers are happy to welcome chess players from Afghanistan, Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bosnia & Herzegovina, China, Croatia, Denmark, England, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Iran, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Libya, Mongolia, Former YUG Republic of Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Ukraine, United States of America and Serbia.

There are already 17 registered GM`s, 2 WGM`s, 16 IM`s, 5 WIM`s etc.
Three top seeded players for OPEN A are:
GM Milos Perunovic (2596), GM Kiril Georgiev (2590) and GM Miodrag R Savic (2545).

Transfer from and to Belgrade Airport can be arranged upon request.

Beside chess tournaments two free excursions will be organized for all interested chess players and accompanying persons in order to visit nice tourist resorts Grza and Sisevac, as well as historical heritage of Paracin municipality.
