GM Atalik Suat of Turkey and WGM (IM) Yelena Dembo of Greece are the winners of the 4th Mediterreanean Men and Women Chess Championship that took place from 18-25 February 2007 in Cannes, France. This was GM Atalik's second Championship and he honourably defended last year's title. 15 countries out of a total possible 21 participated making this also a notable record for the events.The tournament had 23 title holders and amongst them 5 Grand Masters.
