The first World Senior Team Championship 2004 will take place on the Isle of Man, England, from 5 to 12 October 2004. It is an 8 round Swiss for teams of 4 plus 1 optional reserve. Financial support may be available for the first nominated team from each Federation. Teams can represent federations, regions, clubs or even 4 like-minded players. The event will be preceded by the Monarch Assurance Congress 25 September to 3 October that will take place at the same venue.
