Halkidiki is waiting to welcome 82 teams (64 men and 18 women) for the European Club Cup 2008. The European Club Cup team composition proves to be one of the strongest in the history of the event. More than 600 players will participate in the open and women section. According to the October FIDE rating list there are 23 players over 2700 ELO and 83 players over 2600 ELO and 30+ women players over 2400.
