The Bahrain Chess Club (BCC) is pleased to announce the Arcapita International Open Chess Championship with total prizes of 16000$.
Managed by Bahrain Chess Club, this event will be held in Bahrain from 23rd January to 3rd February 2009.
Titled players will be provided full accommodation and a special behind-the-scenes tour to Bahrain F1 Grand Prix circuit with free adventure ride.

Time Control and Format
Swiss System; FIDE-rated and titled; Rate of play will be 90 minutes for the whole game with 30 seconds increment for every move starting from the first move.
