Announcement of FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Dresden Print

FIDE and the Arbiters' Council are organizing a FIDE Arbiters' Seminar in Dresden, during the 38th Olympiad, according to the following schedule:
Friday 14 November 2008 9.30-12.30 Lecture (2nd round of the Olympiad starts at 15.00)
Saturday 15 November 2008 9.30-12.30 Lecture
Sunday 16 November 2008 9.30-12.30 Lecture
Monday 17 November 2008 9.30-12.30 Examination Test
The lecturers will be: IA Stewart Reuben (ENG) and IA Werner Stubenvoll (AUT).

The Seminar will be open for attendance by any participant from all National Chess Federations, member of FIDE. All issues of the FIDE Arbiters' Seminars will be presented (Laws of Chess, tournament rules and regulations, title regulations, Swiss Pairings, etc.).

All attendees who will pass successfully the Examination Test will receive norms and titles, according to the regulations and following the approval of the FIDE General Assembly.
