Report of the FIDE Arbiters Seminar in Tashkent Print

From 25 to 29 March 2008 an Arbiters` Seminar was organized in Tashkent by the Asian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE and in association with the Uzbekistan Chess Federation. The Seminar took place in the complex 4 stars Shodlik Palace Hotel in Tashkent and the lecturer was IA Ashot Vardapetian, Member of the FIDE Arbiters` Council.

From 25 to 29 March 2008 an Arbiters` Seminar was organized in Tashkent by the Asian Chess Federation, under the auspices of FIDE and in association with the Uzbekistan Chess Federation.

The Seminar took place in the complex 4 stars Shodlik Palace Hotel in Tashkent and the lecturer was IA Ashot Vardapetian, Member of the FIDE Arbiters` Council.

25 people from Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan participated in the Seminar. 19 of them participated in the examination test.

The following Arbiters succeeded in the test:

IA Turdaliev Husan (UZB) 90, Panchuk Yulia (UZB) 85, Mahmod Hanif (AFG) 83, Nazarov Anvar (TJK) 82, Matrosov Igor (KAZ) 81, Uskova Tatiana (KAZ) 81, Nadirzhanov Abdurakhman (UZB) 80, Semiev Suhrab (TKM) 80 and Son Olga (UZB) 80
