The seminar for FIDE Arbiters was organized in Dubai by the respective Federations in cooperation with the FIDE Arbiters` Council in December 2007. .

The seminar for FIDE Arbiters was organized in Dubai by the respective Federations in cooperation with the FIDE Arbiters` Council in December 2007.

The Dubai Seminar was organized by the UAE Chess Federation and the Dubai Chess and Culture Club and took place in the Leader`s Qualification Center, in Dubai, from 4 to 9 of December 2007.

The Lecturer was IA Panagiotis Nikolopoulos, Chairman of the FIDE Arbiters` Council and co-lecturers were IA Mahdi Abdulrahim and IA Dr. Hisham Elgendy, members of the FIDE Arbiters` Council.

23 people (14 men and 9 women) from 8 countries (UAE, Somalia, Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Philippines, Yemen and Iran) participated in the Seminar. 11 of them participated in the examination test.
