This enables FIDE to check and where necessary to correct the addresses and to see to it that there are no omissions or mistakes, thus diminishing the risk that federations are not represented due to lack of information.

At the opening of the official team competitions the national anthem of the host country and the anthem of FIDE will be played.

At the opening of the official matches the national anthems of the countries of the participants will also be played.

At the closing ceremony of all the competitions the FIDE anthem, the national anthems of the host country and of the winning team`s or player`s country will be played and the flags of the countries of the three winning teams or the winning player of the individual competition will be hoisted.
