Certificates of Appreciation – FIDE Year of Social Chess 2025
Introduction and Guidelines
As part of the FIDE Year of Social Chess 2025, the FIDE Social Commission is honoured to introduce a global recognition initiative to celebrate individuals and projects that use chess as a powerful tool for social good. This initiative will be highlighted on July 20th, International Chess Day, through the FIDE Outstanding Contribution to Social Chess Award and accompanying Certificates of Appreciation.
Each submission will receive a digital Certificate of Appreciation with a blank name field, allowing federations to personalise and print the certificate locally.
Please submit this form separately for each certificate recipient.
You may submit multiple recognitions, but we kindly encourage federations to honour recipients selectively, to preserve the prestige of this initiative.
