Chess and Education Conference in Cannes, France Print

The 2nd Forum Echecs et Education will be held in Cannes, France 7 July.

The seminar is held by AIDEF (Association Internationale des Echecs Francophones) under the auspices of FIDE, FIDE's Chess in Schools Commission (CiS), the French Chess Federation, the Association Cannes-Echecs, the Institut Stanislas, the Région Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur and the Département des Alpes-Maritimes..

Confirmed speakers: Bachar Kouatly (President of French Chess Federation), Patrick van Hoolandt (President of AIDEF), Kevin O'Connell (FIDE-CiS Chairman), Myriam Noël-Winderling (psychologist) and GM Gilles Miralles.

The theme of the conference is titled Le jeu d’échecs: un outil pour modifier la structure du cerveau et de la personne (Chess - a tool to develop the brain and the person).
