A FIDE-CiS seminar for those wishing to acquire the skills of teaching chess in schools, leading to the title of School Instructor, will be held in Cannes, France 8-12 July.

The seminar is held by AIDEF (Association Internationale des Echecs Francophones) under the auspices of FIDE, FIDE's Chess in Schools Commission (CiS), the French Chess Federation and the Institut Stanislas.

The seminar, in French, will be led by CiS Lecturer GM Gilles Miralles. This is the first FIDE-CiS seminar to be held in France.
