FIDE Trainers' Seminar in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - RESULTS Print

For another one year in a row, a trainers’ seminar was organised by FIDE, TRG and the Malaysian CF in Malaysia. The country has a long tradition with multiple trainers’ seminars, organised in Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu.

The seminar was held in Kuala Lumpur, in the International Youth Center. It was coorganised by the FIDE, the Asian Chess Federation (ACF), the FIDE Trainers’ Commission (TRG) and the Malaysian Chess Federation (MCF).

This 15-hour seminar took place in between July 4th to 7th, 2018 and thirteen (13) trainers participated, from Brunei (1), Indonesia (1) and Malaysia (11). The seminar’s Lecturers were GM/FST/IA/IO Efstratios Grivas (Greece), who is also the Secretary of the FIDE Trainers’ Commission (TRG), and KK (Kwai Keong) Chan (FT/IA/IO) who is also the President of the Hong Kong Chess Federation.
