UgraMegaSport
 is an organizer of chess events held in Khanty-Mansiysk over the last years. Among them are 39th World Chess Olympiad (2010), World Chess Cup (2011), Women's FIDE World Chess Championship (2012), FIDE World Rapid and Blitz Championships (2013), World Candidates Tournament (2014), Women's FIDE World Rapid and Blitz Championships (2014), FIDE Grand Prix final (2014/15), FIDE World Junior U20 Championships (2015), FIDE Would Youth U14, U16, U18 Championships (2016), Women's FIDE Grand Prix final (2016/17), World Team Championships and Women's World Team Championships (2017). The bid of Khanty-Mansiysk for hosting Chess Olympiad 2020 was successfully approved during the FIDE General Assembly held in Baku in September 2016.

Besides, UgraMegaSport will organize two more major tournaments before 2020 - Women World Championships 2018 and World Cup 2019.

UgraMegaSport has 7 sport arenas and stadiums around Khanty-Mansiysk. Some of them were used as venues of chess tournaments. Ugra Tennis Center has hosted 39th World Chess Olympiad and FIDE Would Youth U14, U16, U18 Championships. Besides, hotel "Olympiyskaya", which is also run by UgraMegasport, was built in 2010 specialli for the participants and members of the delegations of World Chess Olympiad.
