Rounds start at 3.00 PM, except the last round at 10.00 AM

Maximum accepted delay is 45 minutes

System: 9 rounds Swiss system in three groups “A”, “B” and “C”

Time control: Group A and B: 90 minutes / 40 moves + 30 minutes with 30 sec increment from move 1 Group C: 90 minutes for the whole game with 30 sec increment from move 1

Judging of ties: 1. Direct encounter, 2. Buchholz Cut, 3. Progressive score

Prize fund: 9.500.000 HUF (ca. 24.000 euros)

Playing licence in Hungary costs 8000 HUF (ca. 20 EUR) for 365 days (except foreign players of Hungarian chess clubs) In group “B” we can accept entries between 1800-2199 ELO rating, in group “C” players under 1800 ELO rating.
