Tournament is open to all FIDE rated players in the following categories - Masters : For players rated 2500 (FIDE Standard)and above. - Registration is only accepted online via the following link : https://masters.sharjahchess.ae - Last day of registration & payment is 25th April 2024 - Out of all players the 80% will be selected by 25th April 2024 (after relative online Application) and the rest 20% will (might) be given Wild Card participation permission. - The highest rated player per federation will be invited to participate (priority), after relative Application. Priority will be given to higher (over-the-board) titles and ratings (standard). Exceptions can be given to the Wild Cards. - For each federation a maximum of twenty (20) players will be allowed to participate. An exception will (might) be given to (proven) resident players of the United Arab Emirates. - Organizing committee reserves the right to accept or deny a participant’s registration according to FIDE Rules and regulations and UAE Laws.
