FIDE Women's Circuit 2026 - 2027

The FIDE Women’s Circuit 2026-27 is the series of top FIDE women’s tournaments. Players are awarded Ranking Points (RP) based on performance in these key events. This also includes bonus points for the Women’s World Championship 2026 runner-up. Eligible tournaments are:

  • FIDE‐rated women’s individual OTB standard‐play tournaments with 50 or more players;

  • FIDE Women’s World Rapid and Blitz Championships 2026 and 2027;
    Continental OTB women’s Rapid and Blitz Championships held in 2026 and 2027;
    Women’s standard National Championships;

  • FIDE Women’s Grand Prix tournaments;

  • FIDE-rated women’s tournaments pre-approved by GSC.

  • This includes bonus points for the Women’s World Championship 2026 runner-up. The final score of a player is calculated as the sum of the player’s RP in up to twelve of her best events.

The highest-placed player of the FIDE Women’s Circuit 2026-27 qualifies for the FIDE Women’s Candidates Tournament 2028.

  • FIDE Women’s Candidates Tournament 2026 (Paphos, Cyprus, March 28 – April 16, 2026)
MAY
  • Norway Chess Women 2026 (Oslo, Norway, May 25 – June 05, 2026)
JUNE
  • Cairns Cup 2026 (Saint Louis, USA, June 07-20, 2026)
