DGT, the leading designer, developer, manufacturer, and distributor of chess-related products, held two seminars alongside the 46th FIDE Chess Olympiad in Samarkand.
Led by Frans Peeters, the seminars brought together 46 participants from 33 countries and territories. Each session took place over two mornings, during which attendees had the opportunity to learn how to set up and run a chess tournament using DGT e-Boards and LiveChess. Participants also gained hands-on experience with the equipment, putting their newly acquired knowledge into practice.
The attendees were highly eager to learn and had many questions for the instructor, Frans Peeters. The strong interest in DGT technology from participants worldwide was evident throughout the sessions. At the end of the seminar, each participant received a gift bag containing various DGT merchandise items and a certificate recognising them as a DGT e-Board Operator.
The seminars concluded successfully, equipping a new group of experts with the tools to bring chess tournaments to life online.
